About Santander Business Start-up Extra
If you already hold a personal current account with us, you qualify for 18 months free banking.
If you don't have your main personal current account with Santander, you can still qualify if you open a new Santander Current Account or switch your main personal current account to us at the same time as you open a Business Start-up Extra account.
We'll make sure switching to us is easy and hassle-free. Simply open your personal current account online and select our Account Transfer Service in the online application - we'll do the rest.
The only transactions you will have to pay for on either of our Start-up Business Current Accounts are non-standard account transactions, such as CHAPS payments and change-giving. See our non-standard fees.
Easy to bank with
As well as the usual chequebook, paying-in book and regular statements, you have a choice of cards to help you manage your Start-up Extra or Start-up Business Current Account.
Visa Debit Card. Gives you the freedom to bank as you choose - by phone, online, at participating Post Office® branches, or through Santander, LINK and Visa ATMs. And, of course, you can use it to make purchases in stores.
Operator Card. Lets you authorise other people to do your banking for you. They'll be able to access the ATM network to make deposits and view balances, but not withdraw money or make purchases.
Post Office® Cash Deposit Card. Lets you authorise other people to deposit cash at participating Post Office® branches.
